Talents
The following Talents use the One Power:

Aligning the Matrix: The ability to strengthen materials. Used to make power-wrought blades.

Angreal Making: Making angreal, sa'angreal and ter'angreal. Rare.

Balefire: The ability to erase threads from the pattern. Forbidden.

Cloud Dancing: Controlling the weather.

Compulsion: Bending others' will. Forbidden.

Concealment: The talent of Bending Light in order to render a person or object invisible.

Cuendillar Making: Making heartstone.

Delving: Sensing and extracting materials in the earth.

Earth Singing: Controlling the movement of earth.

Foretelling: The ability to foretell future events. Unlike Dreaming, these events are certain. Rare.

Healing: The ability to heal injuries. Those extremely strong in Healing may be able to Heal those cut off from the Source, although this is rare.

Illusion: Disguising the appearance of people or objects.

Listening to the Wind: The ability to predict the weather.

Milking Tears: Heightening another's emotions in order to control them. Forbidden.

Reading Residues: The ability to trace and replicate weaves, including travelling weaves. Rare.

Shielding: The ability to cut another channeller off from the True Source.

Skimming: Creating a platform to move quickly between two places. Similar to Travelling.

Spinning Earthfire: Creating and controlling molten earth.

Travelling: The ability to create large gateways between two places. Requires an intimate knowledge of the place you are travelling from.

Unweaving: The ability to unravel a weave so that it cannot be traced, rather than letting it dissipate naturally. Rare.

Warding: Protecting against interference with a set area.

Wave Dancing: The ability to control large bodies of water.


The following Talents do not use the One Power:

Blademaster: The title given to those who have mastered the sword. This rank must be studied for, and is not available upon character creation. Rare.

Dreaming: Dreaming of events which may come to pass in the future. Rare.

Dreamwalking: The ability to enter Tel'aran'rhiod at will. Rare.

Reading Auras: The ability to see auras around people. Rare.

Sensing Ta'veren: The ability to see an aura around those who are ta'veren.

Treesinging: The ability to control the growth of natural materials.

Sniffing: The ability to 'smell' violence. Rare.

Wolfkin: The ability to communicate with wolves. Wolfkin may enter the Wolf Dream, however they may not control it, and do not have the ability of Dreaming. Rare.
