Welcome to the Training Grounds, home to the Gaidin and Gaidar of the White Tower. The Gaidin fought bravely at Tarmon Gaid'don, and many died trying to protect the White Tower and the Aes Sedai. Were it not for their sacrifice, it is unlikely that the Tower would stand today.

As the Tower began to reform, those who were left realised that they must rebuild their ranks at any cost. Thus, the decision was made to allow women to train in the Garrison to become Gaidar. While most Gaidin and Gaidar serve the Aes Sedai, there are some who choose to be bonded by Asha'man. Still others come to train at the Tower without hoping to one day become warders.

The current Head Gaidin is Jari a'Raimel. The current Mistress of Arms is Kya al'Lorana.
